Lydia Place Tiny Home

We’ve chosen to meet needs outside our church family through 12 community partners who help us put our faith in action for the good of those they serve-kids & families, unhoused neighbors, those with disabilities, and survivors. As an example, Lydia Place helps us understand the complexity of what puts families on the streets and what keeps them there. As they focus on upstream interventions and nurturing whole-family healing to disrupt the generational cycle of poverty and homelessness, we look for ways God has uniquely graced us to support their important work and the 300+ families they serve each year.  

We’re really excited to try something new with them in 2025…the purchase and support of a tiny home embedded in a new development off Bellis Fair Parkway where a recently homeless family can stay until they get on their feet.  In addition to the case management, parenting support, and in-home mental health care Lydia Place provides, CTK will commit to furnishing, repairing and maintaining the little home.
