Why Partnerships?
We are committed to partnering with those already meeting needs in our community rather than recreating the wheel or becoming direct service providers. We believe our partnerships give us opportunities to participate in meaningful ways for the good of our community.
To serve our community, we have to be connected to our community. Our partnerships offer an ideal opportunity to express God’s care, concern, and kindness toward every person he’s created.
What’s the Vision?
Our vision for partnerships is to represent Christ and give people a positive experience of His church through the financial support, volunteers, and relationship we offer nonprofits who are doing exceptional work here in Whatcom County.
Our vision is also for our church — the people of CTK. We believe that service is integral to discipleship… all followers of Jesus are called to serve the least of these. So we seek to keep Christ’s commands to care for the disadvantaged in front of our congregation and create achievable, effective ways they can do that.
