Direct Ways to Support our PartnErs
God can use every part of our life as part of his plan to redeem and restore all things. He can use our jobs, our families, our hobbies, even our fun. Consider this: almost every weekend in Whatcom County a worthy cause is hosting a fundraising event to support their work in our community. What if...
Date Night: you and your spouse get dressed up for a fancy dinner date night....by finding one of the 600+ local nonprofits tackling an issue you care about and purchasing tickets to their Gala or Auction?
Family Fun: take your family to a Cornhole Tournament or Cribbage Tournament or an Outdoor Concert or another family friendly fundraiser and talk to your kids about the importance of giving back to the community and even the specific cause that event will support
Ladies Night Out: Next time you plan a night out with friends, pick something that will also make a difference. Maybe the Handbags for Housing or the Food Truck Round up or a 5k in support of a worthy local charity.
This doesn't have to be hard and you were going out anyway, right? Click on any of the upcoming fundraising events to learn more:

What does it mean to Partner?
Christ the King is proud to partner with a growing number of local organizations that provide essential services in our community. We express our long-term commitment to these respected, nonprofit partners in two ways: through financial support from the generosity of our congregation and by providing volunteers to help meet the needs of each partner and the people they serve. In exchange, CTK benefits from the expertise and assistance of these nonprofits to better serve our diverse congregation.
To financially support our partners, choose Blessing when you give online or use a green Blessing envelope when you give cash or checks. To find volunteer opportunities, check out our list of small group service projects. To find out more about the criteria we use for selecting partners, click here. If you have ideas or questions, please email Wendy Powell, Community Outreach Pastor or call 360-733-1337 x212.
