Who are we serving?

Lydia Place serves homeless families and individuals throughout Whatcom County. We serve 150 households at any given time, totaling 400 annually.

Who is helping connect us to their needs?

Lydia Place serves homeless families and children throughout Whatcom County. Through wraparound services such as housing placement, mental health counseling, parenting education, case management, and more, we are working to end the cycle of homelessness for this generation and the next. Founded in 1989 in response to the lack of services available to homeless women with children, our programs and services have grown to reach all corners of Whatcom County and for any household structure.

How are we serving?

Our clients are in need of full-sized cleaning supplies for their homes. Many are on fixed incomes, with little room in their budget for things like laundry detergent, dishwashing soap, and other basic supplies every household needs. Your support will help our families feel more at home!

Who do you contact?

Please contact Kyle Fuller, Community Engagement Coordinator, at kylef@lydiaplace.org or 360.671.7663 x 2005 when your group’s items are collected to find a time to drop them off. Also, take the opportunity to thank the person receiving your donation for the work they and their co-workers do every day to make sure every family in Whatcom County has a home.
If you need help in the process, Wendy at CTK is available (wendyp@ctk.church or 733-1337 ext 212.
